JANUARY 2026 COHORT NOW ENROLLING – Only 7 Spots Available

Something’s missing from your story.

What does it feel like to be disconnected from your story, voice, and creativity?

It can feel like being backed up—constipated, restless, irritable, discontent. Like your cup is overflowing, but only with the wrong things: bad moods, self-doubt, resentment, confusion, a sense of being lost or directionless.

What happens when a woman silences herself for too long?

She begins to believe something is permanently wrong with her. She lets other people’s voices dominate, while her own longings sit on the back burner. Expansion feels uncomfortable, so she contracts. She hides.

Yet beneath that silence is a longing: to write, to dance, to sing, to speak, to be seen and valued for all of who she is.

Do you feel misunderstood?

Why do so many women struggle to express themselves? We’ve been conditioned to put everyone else first—to overwork and overfunction until there’s no energy left for what nourishes us.

The old stories whisper: be quiet, be agreeable, be small. So we silence our authentic voice. We convince ourselves it doesn’t matter that we miss dance class, that we skip journaling, that our desires keep getting postponed.

For many women, trauma—especially the mother wound—shows up as creative silence or self-doubt. Generational shame, cultural dislocation, wars, and the absence of choice have been passed down. We are only a few generations into having agency over our lives. The backlog of unspoken, unfelt truths is enormous.

Creativity is how we honor and transform these stories.

Like compost, art allows us to recycle pain into nourishment and new life. It’s how we stay connected to spirit and soul, to our bigger self, to our wild and raw vitality.

I am deeply passionate about creating safe, non-perfectionistic and non-performative spaces where women can reconnect with their voice and let their raw creativity flow again.

What is Right HerStory?

Right HerStory is my signature six-month group program where women reclaim their stories through writing, movement, sound, ritual, and community.

Together, we create space for you to craft a piece of your life that culminates in a presentation—spoken word, dance, song, poetry, or any combination—shared in a supportive circle. This is not about “performance.” It’s about truth-telling. It’s about reclaiming your body, voice, and story in the company of women who see and hold you.

How does it work?

Tanya Img

  • Deep Circles (monthly):2-hour sessions for intimate group processing, journaling, and ritual.
  • Creative Labs (bi-weekly):75-minute embodied explorations of movement, voice, and expression.
  • Private Mentoring:at least one 1:1 session with me to shape your story and receive personalized support.
  • Journey Support:creative prompts, optional rehearsals, and integration sessions.
  • Presentation Showcase:a culminating circle in which each woman shares her truth in the most authentic form.

The Power of Group Work

Right HerStory isn’t just about your individual journey—it’s about the alchemy of being witnessed in community. What makes this program different is the safety and belonging that forms in our closed circle of women.

  • You hear your own story reflected back in the voices of others.
  • You discover that what you thought made you “too much” or “not enough” is actually what connects you.
  • You find courage you didn’t know you had, simply by showing up together.

0ea2d9dda1acSomething very special gets healed in group work: it reaches into the places shaped by our family dynamics—the patterns of being silenced, overlooked, or unsupported—in a way that 1:1 work simply cannot. In circle, we rewrite those early imprints together.

That’s why the transformation you create here doesn’t just live in your journal—it lives in your body, your relationships, and your life. And often, the circle doesn’t end when the program does. Many cohorts naturally continue as sisterhoods and support systems long after the final presentation—helping you carry your creative breakthroughs into daily life and lasting change.

Why come to me?

I bring over two decades of weaving expressive arts, somatic work, and depth psychology. From performing off-Broadway to creating women’s communities in Germany, speaking at the International Court of Human Rights, and becoming a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner and LMFT, I’ve lived this work. I know what it’s like to struggle with voice, boundaries, and belonging, and I understand how creativity transforms that pain into power.

I don’t share this work from theory alone—I’ve lived it. Creativity, writing, and movement have been my lifelines, and I know the courage it takes to bring your truth into the open.

Gain vision and transformation.

What shifts when women reclaim their stories? Everything shifts as confidence grows, relationships shift, and you feel connected to your calling, your creativity, and your joy. You belong to yourself again.

Expressing your truth—whether in words, movement, or art—feels risky but electrifying, like a wave that refreshes every cell. With the right support, it becomes not only safe but exhilarating.

This program is like stepping into the ocean with buoys marking the safe zone: you are free to swim, play, and explore—knowing you’re supported every step of the way.

Stage/Presentation moment

Imagine standing before the circle, your story fully formed, your voice clear and strong, held by the women who’ve witnessed your becoming.

Dancing Women

If you feel a spark reading this, trust it.

Many women who joined Right HerStory thought they had no story to tell and no idea how they could ever share something on stage. Every single one of them did, and every single one left changed.

Cohort begins January 16, 2026. Application deadline: December 20, 2025.

I keep these circles intimate, so space is limited. If your body feels a yes—even a shaky one—trust it and reach out.
